# L1 Robot Engineer

#### Responsibilities:

- Design, help build, and maintain robot assemblies
- Create CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks or OnShape
- Create 3D printed parts
- Select the correct material usage for parts and construction to minimize waste

#### Requirements:

- Must meet fundraising, outreach, and attendance requirements
- Must be able to create SOLIDWORKS drawings and DXF files for CNC
- Must be able to read dial caliper/micrometer
- Must demonstrate basic mastery of CAD skills through a modeling test

#### Comfortable with:

- Creating drawings, .dxf files, and .stl files of necessary parts
- Creating a bill of materials for subsytems
- Importing COTs parts and mating them effectively in cad
- Creating parts from a mastersketch
