2023-2024 Impact Submission
In the 2025-20262023–2024 season, YETI Robotics continued to growexpand its impact acrossthroughout the Charlotte community and beyond. The team dedicated over 2,3,000 hours to mentoringoutreach fouracross veteran40 FIRSTevents, teamsinspiring thousands through STEM education and community engagement. YETI launched newits FLL,newest FTC,initiative, RISE with YETI, providing an affordable gateway to STEM for students at Title I schools through a custom robotics and FRCbusiness teamscurriculum. -The supportingteam aroundalso 150+continued studentsafter-school throughprograms, sponsorshipsummer camps, Girl Scout Robotics Merit Badge classes, senior cybersecurity workshops, and mentorship. YETI also expanded its STEM outreachadvocacy to 100+ students across five Title 1 schoolsefforts in CharlotteWashington, through their robotics courses.D.C. On the competition side, YETI earned the teamFIRST rankedImpact #6Award inat the UNC Asheville District Event and advanced to the FIRST North Carolina districtDistrict Championship, where they received the Regional FIRST Impact Award and wonqualified two events as Alliance 1 Captain, while also earningfor the District Impact Award. Their newest initiative, Go Green With YETI, promoted environmental sustainability within the team and across FIRST NC, and their Open Alliance presence reached 3,000+ people across social media and Chief Delphi.Championship.
