Getting Started

1. download the installer from https://github.com/wpilibsuite/allwpilib/releases/tag/v2023.4.3
2. scroll down to assets and download the appropriate version for your operating system
   1. if you have a mac and are unsure if you should download the arm64 or intel version,
   2. click the apple logo menu in the top left of your screen and click about this mac
   3. if it says you have an Apple M1/M2/etc. chip, download the arm64 installer. otherwise download the intel version
3. run the installer
4. click start
5. choose the  "Tools Only" installation method. DO NOT CHOOSE EVERYTHING
6. you should now have wpilib installer

 

1. download intellij community edition using the appropriate installer from here: https://github.com/wpilibsuite/allwpilib/releases/tag/v2023.4.3
2. run the installer and install intellij
