L1 Robot Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, help build, and maintain robot assemblies

• Create CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks or OnShape

• Create 3D printed parts

• Select the correct material usage for parts and construction to minimize waste

Requirements:

• Must meet fundraising, outreach, and attendance requirements

• Must be able to create SOLIDWORKS drawings and DXF files for CNC

• Must be able to read dial caliper/micrometer

• Must demonstrate basic mastery of CAD skills through a modeling test

Comfortable with:

• Creating drawings, .dxf files, and .stl files of necessary parts

• Creating a bill of materials for subsytems

• Importing COTs parts and mating them effectively in cad

• Creating parts from a mastersketch
